LandArt '09 | It's Sunday!Artistic Residence | Day 22
It is Sunday in China, after all ...
Opposite to the saying, when in Rome do as the Romans do, part of the group, decided to slow down and spend the day in Yang Shu city. Some, in search of materials still missing, others just to rest from this artistic marathon. This is also due to the fact that yesterday there was a late ending film screening.
Sara Yan, made the first presentation of her photographic work. Here, all the care isn’t enough because the work being developed in a photographic record, requires tight control and therefore to be at the lab to follow the film developing, with the help of some students, which are interpreting.
Vasco Luz also used this trip to buy some more tools, in order to finish his wooden work.
Michel Batlle, Denis Piel and Tatou Coustols enjoyed the frenetic pace of trade which, as mentioned yesterday, does not stop at the weekends. Also took advantage to make some photos, and catch moments such as a child to riding a high-capacity motorcycle, or another, training for public servant.
The others kept working, as well as all local workers who are finalizing the three buildings part of this project, Tea House, Artists Residence and Exhibition Center.
Being Sunday today, we won’t lengthen any more, leaving the heads of our readers, quieter...
