Filipa Silveira, born in 1978, developed a basic graduation in jewelry and in decorative arts, at Ar.Co, in 2007, as she also completed the course of Artistic Formation at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, in 2003.
ify; ">At the moment, she's in the 3rd year of sculpture at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Unversidade de Lisboa. Filipa's professional and artistic paths count with the participation in numerous solo and collective exhibitions, as her drawing and molding expressions transport us to a world where we encounter controlled and decelerated explosions by the fluidity of her imagination.
Marina Carvalho, born in 1981, graduated in sculpture in 2008/2009 at the Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto, as she also possesses the knowledge of piano through the Academia de Música de Santa Maria da Feira.
Both her professional and artistic paths are characterized by her multidisciplinary skills by connecting her formation in several media experiences with her practice in an international itinerary subscription that counts with the participation in an artistic residence in Turkey, as well as several international workshops and symposiums.
Marina also worked with children as she was a teacher dedicated to the activities of art and music, in several Portuguese institutions, and Art Therapy to children with special needs in Israel.
Rui Pinto Gonçalves, born in 1963, is an architect by education and profession, with a degree by the Factulty of Architecture of the Lisbon Technical University, and founding partner of RRJ Arquitectos, an internationally active firm with head office in Lisbon.
Traveller by vocation, humanist and ecologist by nature, Rui Pinto Gonçalves has developed architectural projects where environmental integration, self-sustainability and formal experimentation assume the structural theme.
Sara Chang Yang, born in 1982, mostly reveals her artistic expressions through drawing. As shes's an assistant of the artist Rui Moreira, her artistic path was balanced by her studies in architecture, at the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universdade Técnica de Lisboa, followed by a drawing course at Ar.Co, which she developed frequenting an advanced course in the forthcoming year.
Her work reveals an organic three dimension, through which we dive into a universe of symbols of constant discovery.
Tim Madeira, born in1955, is an artist of multifaceted training, solidly based on courses of Visual Communication and Photography at the Ar.co, attendance of the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa and furhtermore degrees in Architecture, completed by the Madrid University of Architecture - where he also attended the Course of Free painting and Statue drawing - and by the Faculty of Architecture of the Lisbon University.
His solid and plural education expresses itself in a work which is essentially achored in the assemblage and collage, where resorting to conjugation and superposition of various and different materials mirrors a formal and conceptual approach which is essentially characterized by a uncomplexed and free maturity.
Vasco Luz, born in 1980, is one of the best young portuguese wood carvers. His great technic has been noticed in national and international projects like the restoration of Igreja da Glória, one of the most important pieces of National Heritage of Rio de Janeiro / Brazil.
Vasco divides his time between the work he develops in WOA-Way of Arts and his studio where he almost compulsively sculpts and creates classical or contemporary works of art.
