Born in Lisbon, attended the School of Decorative Arts Antonio Arroio and graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lisbon, 1960. Dedicates herself to painting, drawing, engraving and scenery for theater and ballet. Held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in important collective and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad. She is represented in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in Oporto-Serralves, CAM-Gulbenkian Foundation, Museum A. Modern-Berardo, CGD, BCP and private collections. Chairs the Board of the National Society of Fine Arts.
